AKBD Kitchen and Bath Designer Meghan Kent

Meghan Shacklette, AKBD

Meghan is a native of Dayton, Ohio and studied Business at Wright State University before moving to Summit County in 2011.  Meghan worked for Keystone Resort in Mountain Operations for 3 years before joining the Kitchenscapes Team in 2014.  Meghan is AKBD certified and enjoys designing unique spaces for every client.  Meghan enjoys spending her time off with her husband Grady, daughter Gracyn and German Shepherd Greta.  

 
Kitchen and Bath Designer Kim Greenwood

Kim Greenwood, Designer

Kim Greenwood studied Art History at the University of Vermont with continued studies in Architecture. Shortly after she completed her studies, she moved to Colorado to begin her career with a design/build company before joining Kitchenscapes. Kim's experience allows for a broad range of styles in her designs, from traditional and contemporary east coast styles featuring whites with colorful accents to Colorado ranch rustic kitchens.

 

Brianna Handy, Design Assistant

Brianna Handy recently joined the Kitchenscapes design team after completing her Master's Degree in Fine Arts at Florida Atlantic University.  She also has a BA from Indiana University. Bri has a passion for kitchen, bath, and interior design and has experience working with and interpreting designs.

Lauren Ruehring

Lauren Ruehring, President

Lauren Ruehring has extensive building, interior, and landscape design, owing in part to improving and renovating 12 houses in 25 years around the country  as a result of corporate relocations.  Her experience ranges from farm houses in Georgia, to spanish colonial in California, and mid-century modern in Connecticut.

 
Michael Ruehring

Michael Ruehring, Operations

Michael Ruehring spent over 25 years working as an operations executive.  After graduating from the US Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree, he served in the US Navy as a pilot. He transitioned to a career in logistics and operations with General Electric, Home Depot, and several petroleum logistics companies across the country.  During this time, Michael gained extensive experience with design and build with 12 houses in 25 years.
